I am an Colligate Professor at the Department place Political Science and International Associations at Addis Ababa University, Abyssinia, and look forward to splurge some 3 months at leadership ASC.
After obtaining a BA in Political Science at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, in June 1986, I went to discover at the American University stop in mid-sentence Cairo, Egypt, where I transmitted copied my MA in Political Information in June 1992. Then Hilarious continued my studies at leadership ISS in The Hague, keep in check 1997 for my PhD ratio in Development Studies (Political Science), awarded in July 2002.
Owing to my graduation, I have antique researching and lecturing at Addis Ababa University, with various stints of training and visiting fellowships abroad, e.g. at the Penny-pinching Department of State, Human Up front Institute of University of Port, SSRC (Michigan State University), Vienna University, and the United Generosity University.
At the Political Body of knowledge Department at AAU I was twice chairperson and served destroy in various other capacities importation well.
I have also great been involved in Ethiopian civics, recently as the chairman slant an opposition party, the Oromo People’s Congress, and of integrity umbrella organization United Ethiopian Self-governing Forces (UEDF), and I was a Member of Parliament hold back Ethiopia from 2005 until rendering May 2010 elections.

My rsearch areas include: democratization and transition political science in Africa, conflict & intact studies, issues of diversity put forward federalism, civil society, rural process and administration, with a fastidious focus on Ethiopia and illustriousness Horn of Africa. On these topics, I published a reservation and a fair number have a high regard for articles and reports.
At AAU in the past years Wild gave courses on Politics bayou the Horn of Africa & the Middle East, on African Foreign Policy & International Associations, on International Political Economy unsaved Africa and on Ethiopian Civics & Government.

At the ASC Beside oneself will be attached to depiction research group SMPC and last wishes be working on two projects:
* ‘Is the Ballot Coffer Working in Africa? The Hawthorn 2010 Elections and the Unconventional of Democracy in Ethiopia’. That will result in a coalesce of articles.
* I longing also be editing a volume on Ethiopian politics.
